Been sorta taking a drive down memory lane recently, so anything can happen in the next half hour. Do you remember the days when our hero’s were real heroes? John Wayne the last of the great gunfighters, the dude with no name saves the day and why did Alan Ladd upset that kid in Shane?
Remember Terence Hill in them there spaghetti westerns, no worries, my name is nobody, seems like everyone has a fistful of dollars at the moment, now that’s a movie Choon. Go on click and play and who knows maybe bring back a memory or three for thee?
Seems like the ICC are all out of bubblegum and with the help of a slight nudge from tha News of the world, have been encouraged to take some kind of action, has it really only been a week … Who knows what will happen next, so many twists and turns and out of curiosity how long does a lifetime ban really last?
Seems like a lifetime ago, when i watched the Aussies warm up in the nets at old trafford during the ashes and even heard that they are human and do actually cry! I remember looking forward to watching the likes of Dennis Lillee run in and bowl, marvel at the devil of Terry Alderman and buzz when Viv Richards rocked Old Trafford and enjoy the fact that Lancashire were the kings of the one day game. When was the last time you saw both Captains score big hundreds and a bowler reach 600 wickets?
Times have changed and the coin seems to rule the roost. Have the good old days really gone forever with the pay to play twenty20 guys taking over the game?
Shame in my book, then again at least i remember the good old days, when cricket seemed to have more to offer Joe public.
Bring on the Ashes and lets party …..
